They're selective in what solutions they will even consider which tells me they don't believe it to be a crisis so why should I?

The extent of the consensus among scientists on anthropogenic global warming (AGW) has the potential to influence public opinion and the attitude of political leaders and thus matters greatly to society. The history of science demonstrates that if we wish to judge the level of a scientific consensus and whether the consensus position is likely to be correct, the only reliable source is the peer-reviewed literature. During 2013 and 2014, only 4 of 69,406 authors of peer-reviewed articles on global warming, 0.0058% or 1 in 17,352, rejected AGW. Thus, the consensus on AGW among publishing scientists is above 99.99%, verging on unanimity. The U.S. House of Representatives holds 40 times as many global warming rejecters as are found among the authors of scientific articles. The peer-reviewed literature contains no convincing evidence against AGW.

Where's all that heat going?
The fact is in a couple decades it's going to be pretty fucking hot in the summer and everyone even the crazy fucks will finally admit we have a problem.

| ´Д`) < >>1 An Emergency no not yet, but it is close, people have told governments for decades that there is a change due to CFC gases etc. They didn't do much except quietly acknowledge it at the time.
| つ \_____________________

Why? Because its corporations who are doing it mostly, and they can't do anything that will hurt those corporations who give jobs and taxation through consumerism and income.

So for the last close to 40 years its got worse, the temp of the planet has risen by a few degrees, now to most that means nothing to them, but to a biosphere that is bad.

Ice at the northern caps has melted by a significant amount, why is this bad, because the ice acted as a reflector of the sun's heat which helped to keep the temp of the planet down. Now with it mostly gone the Sun's ray's are being absorbed by the earth, kinda like a black car in the sun.

This has caused massive change in weather fronts, fortunately this year so far there has been little in the way of storms like last year, but that is due to warm fronts were more common causing Typhoons, Hurricanes etc. Who knows perhaps August will be a bad month.

Some parts of the earth which had a temperate climate now has something hotter, which has caused problems with vegetation and life that relies on it. That vegetation was needed to help produce Oxygen, if more plants and trees were to be lost the less Oxygen would be produced, which would eventually force us to use manufactured methods to get Oxygen out there.

And the Oceans and Seas aren't exempt either, higher water temps will kill off a good amount of plant life on the Ocean and Sea beds, so lack of Oxygen in the waters too, yes that is a thing.

I am not a crazy climate protestor, but I am not stupid to ignore it either. Something needs to be done or else our future gens of family members will have to suffer for it.

the communist organization that pays her to be its face doesn't want to solve the problem, in fact it specifically demands we NOT solve the problem. It just wants to make western(ONLY western) civilization voluntarily regress to pre-industrial times so the chinese can murder us.

| ´Д`) < >>1 It is less of a 'climate emergency' and more of a 'heat disaster'.

We know beyond any doubt that the planet is warming, and warming far more quickly than it has any business doing thanks to human activity. We also know if it warms more than a certain amount (2 degrees C average temperature) by the end of the century, human civilization as we currently know it is fucked. We are currently on track to DOUBLE that temperature increase.

All the naysayers and deniers calling people like me 'alarmists' are living in a fantasy world where they assume something so drastic could never happen. I wish they were right, but the preponderance of evidence says otherwise. And honestly, the warming isn't even the worst part. The extra CO2 absorption into the oceans is going to kill off, and already has been killing off, the majority of the life left in the oceans (which we have already reduced by 70% since 1970). That will cause global food chain collapse. We are already seeing the most sensitive creatures, such as corals, being wiped out, as well as corrosion of calcium-based shells.

If idiots don't wise up and act soon we're all dead by the end of the century, essentially.
