I've never seen ds9
missing out. it's just as good as TNG imho fam

Ya but if the president went on TV he would say "alien race" instead of species.
21 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-27 12:40
It's on my to do list
22 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-27 15:27
DS9 has the best story arc of all the star treks. Not the best acting though, especially the first few seasons

to humanize them and make them palatable to the masses. calling a nuke a banana cream pie doesn't suddenly make it not a nuke.

Yea it was in the final season the episode is called "Force of Nature"

It's on my to do list
Worf and Obrien are there. Quark and Nog are the best characters by far. The Cardassians are the best antagonist in Star Trek. besides Q.
Q also makes appearances

dax and and that bajoran bitch irritate me so much
28 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-28 08:11
It may have been mentioned in DS9 the shows did air at the same time and there were a few crossover episodes, but it originated from Voyager.
29 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-28 10:58
Did anyone notice that Nog always hung out with the captains son, a black kid. Would that kind of duo be considered Nig Nog
30 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-28 13:44
Quark and Garek ARE THE SHIZNITE
31 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-28 16:31
I made the mistake of thinking voyager came out before ds9. I watched every episode of TNG then every one of Voyager. Not sure if I should watch TOS before ds9
32 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-28 19:18
There's no way it originated in Voyager cause Picard even mentioned it. And Voyager as we all know was... IN THE DELTA QUADRANT TOO FAR FOR COMMUNICATION
33 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-28 22:05
shit I meant Rom not Nog. Nog is shit actor..
34 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 00:52
Garek is endlessly interesting simply by the great performance
35 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 03:39
Plus his character is bad ass
36 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 06:26
The damage was discovered in TNG in the Briar Patch episode, Voyager was one of the first (if not the first) to use a new tech based on biology that helped reduce the impact of going high warp speeds. Previous to that new tech the federation had put in a rule that the maximum speed a ship would go was warp 5 or 6 (I forget) in order to minimize damage, unless in an emergency situation (out running an attacking ship for example)
37 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 09:13
I knew you meant Rom, cause there was no way someone would even joke about Nog being one of your favorite characters even on this shit board
38 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 12:01
Best character in DS9, probably in all of Star Trek
39 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 14:48
I always remember this commercial, but I remember it as an All State insurance commercial.
40 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 17:35
Kes was the worst character on Voyager. I am willing to bet money on this.
41 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 20:22
I can't bring myself to use examples cause it could lessen the impact if anyone hasn't seen the series yet. He's that badass
42 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-29 23:09
Also keep in mind that while the ships could go high warp speeds their cruising speed (speed they can sustain for long periods) was lower, for example the Enterprise D was Warp 6.
43 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 01:56
the best character is moogie, you sexists.
44 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 04:43
Garek is the purest example of True Neutral.
45 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 07:30
even as a kid I thought 7 of 9 was stupid and ruined the show
46 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 09:28
the linchpin keeping the peace
47 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 11:36
TNG Season 6, Episode 20: The Chase.
I always envision it played by the cast of Trailer Park Boys, with Lahey and Randy being Picard and Riker, Ricky as LaForge, Bubbles as Data, and Julian as Worf. Lucy is of course Troi, and Sarah is Dr. Crusher.

two species can't inter-breed
You high? The offspring might be impotent, but horses and donkeys breed all the time
49 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 14:41
i tried watching trailer park boys, but I didn't laugh once the entire episode I watched. I think it was the first one.

"Treason, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder."
51 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 17:45
I may be fuzzy, maybe it was TNG, it's been a few years, but Voyager did manage to regain communication in the later seasons, they even sent the EHM to the alpha quadrant.
52 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 18:18
horses and donkeys breed all the time
they are the same species but different breeds.
53 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 18:35
There we's been a few years since I've watched every thing.
54 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 18:52
Yet leaves the mule sterile. HMMM HMMM what can we learn
55 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 19:09
O'Brien is my favorite followed by Nog. I think he portrayed his character perfectly. Was never a huge fan of Worf but DS9 turned that around. Sisco and Kira were annoying most of the time.
56 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 19:10
I second that.

The Doctor was my favorite by far
57 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 19:26
Don't you mean Quark
58 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 19:43
I mean Nog. Quark grew on me and I thought his character was good.

I liked Nog because he always kept that mischievous little Ferengi spirit about him but was trying to be more than what was expected of him as a Ferengi. People often call his acting bad but I thought he perfectly played a character that was caught between two worlds as was always being pulled each direction. He showed a Ferengi could be more
59 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 20:02
He was like Worf, or 7 of 9, in the sense that it showed that ANYONE could join the federation and that it was more than a "human's only club"
60 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 20:21
The federation has tons of non human members boyo. Starfleet also
61 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 20:38
"Humans only club" is an old bias from the klingons during ToS era
62 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 20:55
Yet leaves the mule sterile.
a sterile woman is still a human
63 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 21:12
A half human is still a half breed
64 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 21:29
Next thing you're going to argue is that lions and tigers are the same species since ligers and tigons exist.
65 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 21:46
oh ok, so you found out you were gay already when you were a kid, congratulations on early stepping out of the closet
66 Name: Anonymous 2018-11-30 22:37
It uses ridonculous amounts of power and they don't have access to easily replenishable refined dilithium crystals to replace their depleted/damaged power cells (like they would in Federation space).
67 Name: Anonymous 2019-02-12 21:45
I still haven't see Discovery but Captain Pike just looks so god damn dapper. Is it worth a watch?
68 Name: Anonymous 2019-02-19 23:13
I'm actually enjoying this season. First one wasn't as good imo
