Sunderland vs Blackpool [19:00 BST]

The Black Cats can book their place in the play-offs tonight with a win, and if other results go their way.

Of course it's still mathematically possible to catch second-placed Peterborough, although the Posh could seal promotion this evening.

Sunderland are looking to end a six-match winless streak and gain revenge over Blackpool for the 1-0 victory at Bloomfield Road just over two weeks ago.

Lee Johnson again has injury issues to contend with, as Dion Sanderson has been ruled out for the rest of the season, joining Jordan Willis and Arbenit Xhemajli on the long-term injury list.

Tom Flanagan and Conor McLaughlin are also ruled out tonight.

team news - Grant Leadbitter starts for Black Cats

Lee Johnson made one change to the side that started the 3-3 draw against Accrington Stanley at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Grant Leadbitter came into the starting XI in place of Carl Winchester, who dropped to the bench.

With Dion Sanderson ruled out for the remainder of the Black Cats' season, and Tom Flanagan and Conor McLaughlin not yet ready to return, Luke O'Nien again partnered Bailey Wright in central defence, with no centre-back cover on the bench.

Blackpool boss Neil Critchley made three changes to the side that lost at home to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.

SAFC XI: Burge, Power, Wright, O'Nien, Hume, Leadbitter, Scowen, O'Brien, McGeady, Gooch, Jones, Wyke

Blackpool XI: Maxwell, Turton, Ballard, Thornley, Husband, Garbutt, Dougall, Ward, Robson, Kaikai, Yates
