There is something fishy about this whole Super League thing

Don't think they expected this big a reaction. Leagues, Uefa and Fifa sure but not their own clubs fans, managers and players being 100% against it and governments getting involved

Florentino and others have said they expected massive backlash. They are all well co-ordinated. To think a bit of twitter rage and a couple hundred people outside the stadium will change anything is hilarious to me
Keep inhaling that copium

Well the head of these clubs still own the clubs, right?
They could unironically start killing football from the inside now. Making the product even more expensive, pricing out fans, making it boring, more bullshit like VAR

So football becomes a husk, everyone is fed up with it, and then they reintroduce Super League. But they say it's the only way to save football. They say they'll reduce ticket prices. TV subscriptions will be cheaper. They'll promise al the good stuff. People will bend over. Then after a few years, they reintroduce their original plans, and super league is live again.

i think some of the owners actually wanted it, but they definitely knew it could be a bargaining chip to push UCL reform/concessions (which is exactly what happened)

>>1 My guess knowing BlackRock who owns Jp was
They tried to set up a salary cap based league
They knew euros would fight it
Now its rejected

They will buy up all talent.

I think these americans and other cunts genuinely didn't understand the strength of feeling there is about football

It was a distraction to get their shitty Champions League changes through

That's because the "football pyramid" has no power outside of England and maybe Germany. Serie A and La Liga are bound to lose money and viewers because their product is simply inferior in every way possible so the big teams from those countries are trying to save themselves, especially the Italians
