European Union General Court ruling

This is why UEFA will concede.

Icederby has welcomed a ruling by the European Union (EU) General Court that determined it was unlawful for the International Skating Union (ISU) to stop athletes from participating in events not run by the governing body, saying the result allows "speed skaters to guide their own careers."

not equivalent

How so?

Remember how hard UEFA got BTFO by citys lawyers

Now they're not just up against city, they're up against every group of mega Jews in European football that they've let in, and billionaire oil businessmen

Because UEFA are not banning players from competing in other competitions, only their own.

The WC and Euro are essentially FIFAs/UEFAs private tournaments over which they are free to decide

Yeah but this time it's not just UEFA on a mundane matter.

It's UEFA + FIFA + the FAs + various European governements + all the other clubs not in the ESL, all united for a vital matter.

like city last year right
9 Name: Anonymous 2021-04-19 15:49
vital matter.
Yeah, the vital matter of who controls the flow of money.
Retards are really falling for the FIFA/UEFA propaganda that they care about the small teams?
10 Name: Anonymous 2021-04-19 15:58
obviously not, but the crooks in UEFA acting in bad faith to a good goal is better than the crooks in the ESL acting in bad faith to a bad goal

UEFA European Championship
FIFA World Cup
They're not banning players from participating in the Super League, they're banning players who participate in this Super League from playing in their own tournaments

not run by the governing body
it doesn't apply then

Some are, yes.
The reason why is that it's the status quo so they take it as read that UEFA are skimming far too much of the money for themselves, rather than saying that this is itself a bad thing and could probably do with amending EVEN IF the ESL goes ahead.

They can't ban them forming this new league, but they sure as shit can ban them from UEFA-run competitions dumbass.
The EPL for example has within its contract for all clubs that they must have permission to join other leagues as well

Might as well delete this thread at this point mate.

UEFA are greedy fucks as well, but they are pretty neutral on the “club domination” issue. UEFA kikery is the nations league or the European conference league - creating more men’s competitions to sell more games. But all the changes in recent decades that have entrenched the top clubs (more cl slots for the top leagues or the proposed cl spot based on coefficient) are driven by the top clubs who, for better or for worse, just care about their own bottom line and use their influence to force these concessions, always with the threat of forming their own super league is the demands aren’t met

well put.
now they are shilling the uefa/fifa bad meme on twitter, like the most common comment is "they did not to stop racism but they are trying to stop ESL".
I know uefa=mafia but superleague=supermafia so it would not be an improvement.
I will stick to my local team in lower league and ive in comfyness while you take part in the big fake circus of oil tycoons

Perez will just create his own Euros and World Cup though and ban players from competing in Uefa's and Fifa's bullshit.

all united for a vital matter.
Man redditors are fucking cringe. It is just footy and a new competition that a bunch of people would be willing to watch it. Your Mickey Mouse cringefest fantasies are so detached from reality that it is not even funny
20 Name: Anonymous 2021-04-19 17:07
Nobody will watch it
21 Name: Anonymous 2021-04-19 17:14
I will and so will you. Liar
22 Name: Anonymous 2021-04-19 17:22
this is different.
they are not banning them from super league
they are banning them from their events if they play for super league

This president looks JUST af. No wonder chads like Perez and Agnelli bullied him.

ITS HAPPENING¡¡ PSG will be Champions league winner

"I hope that UEFA prohibits Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea from playing the semifinals"

Reactions to the announcement of the creation of the European Super League continue. One of the most forceful in showing his rejection of the new format is Jesper Moller. The president of the Danish Federation and also a member of the UEFA Executive Committee has ensured that Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea should be expelled from the Champions League immediately.
