Sunderland vs Portsmouth [19:45]

The first leg of the League One play-off semi-final gives the Black Cats the chance to put themselves in the driving seat ahead of next Thursday's second leg at Fratton Park.

Jack Ross has virtually a full-strength side to pick from, with only Duncan Watmore ruled out for this one. And the flying forward could even be in contention for the second leg.

This is the fourth time Sunderland have faced Pompey this season and, while they're yet to win any of those games, this is when it really counts.

Jack Ross made six changes to the side that started last weekend’s defeat at Southend United.

Lee Cattermole, Aiden McGeady, Bryan Oviedo, Luke O’Nien, and George Honeyman, and Lewis Morgan were all rested for the trip to Roots Hall but came into the line-up against Pompey.

And Grant Leadbitter, Lynden Gooch, Denver Hume, Adam Matthews, Will Grigg, and Chris Maguire were the men to make way.

Of those who dropped out, all except Hume were included on the bench.Jack Ross made three changes to the side that started last weekend’s defeat at Southend United.
