West Ham vs Newcastle United [17:30 GMT]

The Magpies are in fine form, coming off the back of two important home wins over Huddersfield and Burnley.

New signing Miguel Almiron has already shown he's an exciting addition to the squad, while Sean Longstaff's emergence has been one of the brighest spots of the season.

West Ham won the corresponding fixture 3-0, so United know it won't be easy today, but will fancy themselves to return to Tyneside with at least a point.

West Ham: Fabianski; Fredericks, Ogbonna, Diop, Cresswell; Rice, Noble (c); Lanzini, Snodgrass, Anderson; Hernandez.

Subs: Adrian, Masuaku, Obiang, Nasri, Antonio, Perez, Arnautovic.

Newcastle IX: Dubravka; Manquillo, Schar, Lascelles (c), Lejeune; Ritchie, Hayden, Longstaff; Almiron, Perez, Rondon.

Subs: Darlow, Yedlin, Dummett, Ki, Diame, Atsu, Muto.

Yes, plus it's a One Day International so it's unusual to be bowled out so early. Also you only get one innings in an ODI.

27 Name: Anonymous 2019-03-02 17:42
Why is West Ham's "distance from the pitch" an issue when it's not an issue for the hundreds of other clubs that have the same arrangement throughout the world?
28 Name: Anonymous 2019-03-02 17:43
west ham fans think mark noble 2.0 will ever get an england call-up
stay delusional

>>27
because their old ground was nothing like it and it's shite

It's not a traditional British stadium design.
30 Name: Anonymous 2019-03-02 17:45

because english fans are used to sitting right next to the pitch and being involved in games more
if you're sitting 100 yards away from the pitch you don't feel as involved

38 Name: Anonymous 2019-03-02 17:53
West Ham are renaming the stands? Hey don’t actually own this ground do they? Shouldn’t be allowed if so.

Should be a section if anything.

True. Though I'm a West Ham wagon bander. I was genuinely curious why they would be hated. Maybe their fans are pricks when you travel to St. Mary's. I don't fucking know.

Hipsters surport Dulwich or Wimbledon. West Ham is to mainstream. They also buy random football scarfs from country’s around Europe - ‘oh ya me and Harvey went to Berlin last year, we got tickets to the game but Harvey was on a cum down. I managed to get this vintage scarf though that I wear to pubs in Brixton for no reason’ ughhh
77 Name: Anonymous 2019-03-02 19:28
i fell asleep lads, how we doing
78 Name: Anonymous 2019-03-02 19:30
