Sunderland AFC vs Accrington Stanley [League One]

1 Name: Anonymous 2019-02-15 19:30
Sunderland AFC vs Accrington Stanley [19:45 GMT]

After two draws, it's an ideal opportunity for the Black Cats to get back to winning ways, with Stanley currently in a poor run of form.

Jack Ross has acknowledged his side are not exactly firing on all cylinders right now, but with only two League One defeats this season, it's about turning some of the draws into wins.

Duncan Watmore is rested tonight after playing the full 90 minutes against Blackpool on Tuesday, while new signing Will Grigg is looking for his first goal in Sunderland colours.

One change tonight then with Wyke in for Watmore and Ross seemingly switching to 4-4-2. Here’s the full line-up:

Sunderland XI: McLaughlin, O’Nien, Baldwin, Dunne, James, Gooch, Leadbitter, Honeyman, McGeady, Grigg, Wyke

Subs: Ruiter, McGeouch, Cattermole, Flanagan, Power, Maguire, Morgan

Levy tried to block the £30 away ticket price cap so he could carry on jewing people for more money
Only backed down when it became clear the government ministers were agreeing with fans that the ticket prices were too high, and refusing to do anything themselves could lead to intervention and an investigation

Where do you think the money comes from to expand stadia/build new stadia? It comes from the extra money generated by being able to charge fans more when there is a greater demand for tickets.
7 Name: Anonymous 2019-02-15 19:40
IS Scudamore literally admitting corruption there?

Saying he can use this to make government ministers influence an Ofcom investigation's results
8 Name: Anonymous 2019-02-15 19:41
>>6
Nigga the extra money made on the 2000-3000 away fan tickets is miniscule in the yearly financial reports, it has no influence on whether a club can build a stadium

Clubs like arsenal started taking the piss charging over £65 per away ticket, and the fan also has to spend £30-40 traveling from up north and food/drink costs.

It was obscene, and pricing fans further out of the game TO be replaced by posh wankers and tourists is bad for the overall premier league brand when any remaining atmosphere or rivalry dies

I don't care what you say, that's an attractive stadium. It's better to have a stadium that's *too small* and attendance is always 100% and you have people waiting years to buy season tickets than a stadium that's too big and never at full capacity and sounds as dead as a morgue when your team is a shitter.

Let's be honest here EPL teams are not even English anymore. Nothing wrong with foreigners being fans.

Let's look at these two teams. The owners are not even English. The managers aren't even English and only a few English players
