Arsenal v Everton

Aaron Ramsey is fit for Arsenal despite limping off against Sunderland in midweek with a thigh strain.

Defender Laurent Koscielny could again miss out because of a calf problem, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has no new injury concerns ahead of the game.

It remains to be seen whether the match will mark the last Everton appearance for Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley, whose futures at the club are in doubt.

Head-to-head
*Arsenal are unbeaten in 22 league and cup home fixtures against Everton (W18, D4).
*Everton's last away victory came at Highbury in January 1996, when Graham Stuart and Andrei Kanchelskis scored in a 2-1 win.
*The Toffees could complete the league double over Arsenal for the first time since 1985-86, having won 2-1 in the reverse fixture last December.

Arsenal
*The Gunners have won six of their last seven league games.
*Arsene Wenger's side have one point more than their final 2015-16 tally of 71. Another win would give them their joint-second highest points total in the last nine seasons.
*Arsenal's only defeat in their last 17 Premier League home games came against Watford on 31 January (W13, D3).
*They have earned four successive league victories at the Emirates Stadium, keeping clean sheets in all of them.
*Arsenal have won each of their last nine home matches on the final day of the season, scoring four times in each of the last five.
*Alexis Sanchez has been directly involved in 33 Premier League goals this season - a figure only Harry Kane can match. The Chilean has scored 23 and set up 10.
*Olivier Giroud is two short of 100 goals for Arsenal in all competitions. He has scored four goals in his last three appearances against Everton at the Emirates.

Everton
*Ronald Koeman's side registered their first goal, and win, in four matches by beating Watford last time out.
*Everton are winless in seven Premier League away games since a 1-0 victory at Crystal Palace in January (D4, L3).
*The Toffees have won seven of their final-day fixtures over the last nine seasons, losing the other two.
*Romelu Lukaku has gone four games without a goal but he could still become the first Belgian to win the Premier League Golden Boot, and the first player from a club outside the top four since *Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink for Chelsea in 2000-01.

Can't decide whether I want Liverpool to slip for /sports/ shitposting or Arsenal to slip for the AFTV meltdown

Arsenal have already slipped so AFTV won't be very good.

It would be funnier if Liverpool slipped and Arsenal got in, as we'd get sweet slip memes on here and AFTV would be full of people upset that Wenger has secured his place at Arsenal.

we're witnessing the end of an era here, lads, a changing of the guard

Arsenal have clung to Champions League qualification for so long now and it's been the only thing keeping them mildly relevant with them winning nothing of note for so long.

without it Arsenal are going to lose their top players, and they'll be stuck next season with Arsenal managing shit players on Thursday nights. They're only going to get worse next year. And the year after and the year after that.

Meanwhile Spurs are on the way up, they've taken Arsenal's place in the top 4 and with a new stadium they're only going to keep getting bigger and better while Arsenal decline.

If Everton manage to lose this they should be relegated just to make a point.

Probably not bothering as a win would help Liverpool, and Everton can't move up or down.
