Good tech college.
Is a 2 year IT degree at a good tech college worth it? I have an alright paying job but it makes me tired. I want to be a computer monkey
a guy i know went into security it's very in demand from what he said not enough people are in it plus you can work from remote consider your options ask people in the field who are not tards/
No, you're gonna work in a company IT center where boomers call you every day asking you why their document won't print or to rotate a pdf
Most companies will not hire a person with an associate's degree from a community college to work in IT. Help desk support these days is done in India. I have worked for all manner of companies, startups to large multinationals, and all the local IT support folks had a bachelor's degree.
I don't have a college degree, but I started in the 80s and worked my way up. Back then, nobody really cared. Now, even the secretaries are expected to have a 4-year degree from a good college.
I am not saying you don't have a chance at being hired, but want you to understand that the rejection rate may be high because of your degree choice. The best thing I can offer is get some connections with people already employed. The best way to get hired is via referral.
Why are all tech support scammers Poojeets?
