Am I the only one still heavily invested in Bitcoin?

Me and my boyfriend have been mining it since 2011. But it's way harder now, but we still have most of our money in Bitcoin.

You should diversify your portfolio. If you like bitcoin I would suggest something more tangible like Beanie Babies.

Beanie Babies lol.
I did invest a bit into some other crypto currencies but they just never worked out in the long run. Bitcoin is still pretty damn good. We personally haven't bought any since about 2 years ago. And we never sold anything since like 2013. Any opportunity we get; we sell stuff in exchange for Bitcoin.

We are positive it will go up and beyond the 20k mark again in the next 3-5 years. If that were to happen, I might just retire with this BTC balance.

With bitcoin you either:
A- bought into it early and sold ALL of it when it blew up and made a huge profit.
Or
B- bought into it after it blew up and have been watching it steadily go down.

If you have the opportunity to get out and make a profit, or get out and break even, or even get out and only lose a little bit of money, do it.

Crypto currencies will be big in the future. But it won’t be Bitcoin. It will be something else.
Bitcoin paved the way, but it’s not the “coin” that will be heavily traded in the future.

I am positive it will reach $20,000 / BTC in the coming years. Looking back historically it has had very hard hits but it always went back up. At some points it dropped over 1000% but went back up. Also remember it took years until it first started booming. If people give up on Bitcoin as soon as it takes a hit, it will happen to other cryptos as well. So I hope people do not lost faith in it and keeps investing in it. Only way it can go down is if everyone suddenly starts selling. Bitcoin should set an example for how other cryptos will last. If Bitcoin fails, every other one will fail as well. It's not the currency itself, it's the people that invest in it. If they let go of Bitcoin, what's stopping them from fucking up another currency? Bitcoin has great potential. It can be used for anything. I honestly don't know why we have those other currencies. It's just stupid. As more and more people want to be anonymous (especially with this whole GDPR shit going on), Bitcoin allows people to add a new layer of anonymity over the web. Imagine if some enormous e-commerce company starts accepting Bitcoin (beause it's the most trusted crypto at the moment), it would skyrocket over night. And I see more and more companies accepting BTC as payment on their websites. It's just a matter of time before some site directly or indirectly starts accepting BTC. Like Amazon.
