So what the catch with diploma forgery?

1 Name: Anonymous 2020-07-28 02:17
Let's say I were too shop and existing legit diploma but change it so it's credited towards me, how would they ever find out?
I want to apply to a university but so far my admissions have been denied because my highschool degree is different due to the system in our country
and Im missing 2 subjects compared to their standard https://i.imgur.com/T6sAenm.jpg

Having the paper means literally nothing. The school would normally have a record of your graduation, and others would check that to see if you had the degree or not. No one cares about that little piece of paper except there holder.

I just don't believe that they are checking the degrees of every student, if you're underperforming or they need a reason to get rid of you and youre acting suspicious, sure
but every student at admissions? That must be insanely difficult for an international university. And besides that lots of high schools stop existing or refuse to coperate even if they are legit.

Ive applied for a low level management job once where they hired me due to experience with marketting and they had no way to verify it they just took my word for it

Thats why I ask what's the catch? Surely everyone would be forging fakes since they don't check. I know I'm missing something here

surely one of you /lounge/rs has experience with this

They're not doing it manually, dumbass. But unless you live in a shithole, they get the data automatically so they can use it in the selection process.

And international students obviously have a different process.

Interested, but for a college degree. I want to drop out after 6 years but I still want the jobs

You know that Manga called Re:Life As a child she moved around a lot because of her parents job, and thus could never keep friends, and the mental toll it took her to keep making new friends and lose them made her stop trying, she eventually became a loner with bad social skills and despite being skills kinda failed at life. She was approached by a company that gives you pills that make you a teenager again (temporarily) so she could go back to High School to relearn the parts of her personality she needed to succeed i.e. sociability.

For literally anything else, forged diploma would probably work, but for school related shit, no way. Schools will need to have your transcripts, and they'll show you didn't graduate. Just get a GED if you want to get into college earlier, you can do it in like, one day.

I am not going to talk about high school.
I am retired now, maybe had ten different jobs in my career. All required a college degree, which I did have. Only one ever checked, and got transcripts. Faking your college degree is rampant in corporate America. Look at Melania, they still can’t decide if she has a degree or not. College is a big scam.

Oh yeah, I've heard of that before. Thought about watching the anime awhile ago. I actually never knew it involved more then 1 protagonist. Now looking at it a bit more, it seems to be quite the lengthy manga series sitting @237 Chapters.

Each chapter is only around 10 pages so it's really like reading 118 chapters of a weekly manga. Each volume has 18-20 chapters unlike weekly release volumes that are 7 - 10. I definitely recommend you give it a try.

Lololol
If you think you're smart enough for college you should be able to pass the free GED test

Wayyyyy easier than forging

Im from europe we dont have a GED
theres 3 countries with a GED equivalent and im not in one of those

they can check that easily by sending your document (in an email) to a high school/university and then they can say if it's real or fake. That's how it's done here (Europe) and if you're caught, then the university is legally obliged to sue you.

I dont believe this because
the transcripts would be so old (5> years) that by European privacy law they are not even allowed to have them anymore
the staff has changed
the school could not exist anymore
the school is too busy to bother with checking these things

I think you could only reliably expect to verify files like that with prestigious schools

schools dont close that often. How many closed down high schools/universities do you know in your country?
And I do know that this is in fact possible in Germany. According to privacy & data protection laws, they are allowed to answer yes (it's a real document) or no (it's fake).
Not sure how this is handled in other coutries, but faking it isn't worth it. It will only become easier to expose these kind of things.
