Should we start tearing down statues of MLK too since he was a rapist? That's not very #metoo

where in that article does it say he's a rapist?
3 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:35

He watched and encouraged a rape, which makes him a participant.
4 Name: [email protected] 2020-06-19 21:36
>>3
and what's the definition of a rapist?

oh I just made it up

Pretty sure if you stand in room watching a girl get raped, laughing and beating your dick you're gonna get charged too. But ill play your dumb game. Here, brosephine:

"Should we tear down MLK statues since he participated in a rape?"

That satisfy you?

beating your dick
nice addition, but not related to this situation
"Should we tear down MLK statues since he watched/possibly encouraged a rape?"
ftfy, also yes, we should really just get rid of all statues as most people are never as innocent as their public image seems.

Nope, he was recorded in the room encouraging it. That is objectively participating in the rape and you are a fucking retard playing some serious mental gymnastics if you try to say otherwise. I guess if two guys go into a gas station and only one points a gun at the cashier, you think the other wasn't participating in srmed robbbery?
9 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:45

shut the fuck up with your fake news and disinformation, white retard. i hope you get murdered
10 Name: [email protected] 2020-06-19 21:46

Nope, he was recorded in the room encouraging it.
According to FBI notes, not the tapes.
11 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:48
>>8
also, I mean aren't the FBI agents who listened to this all this culpable of rape too?
12 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:49
>>10
According to hard evidence audio recordings that will be released in 2027
13 Name: [email protected] 2020-06-19 21:50
>>11
sure, we should tear down statues of those guys too
14 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:52
Here you go.
https://www.businessinsider.com/fbi-tapes-allege-mlk-watched-rape-2019-5%3famp

Nothing but hypocrites in here so far. If george Washington is fair game, this piece of shit sure is. Turns out MLK is about as morally righteous as one of those priests who rails against gays and sucks dudes off at truck stops.
15 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:54
>>4
what's the definition

In 2020? YOU DECIDE! Isn't that the fucking fun of it all?
16 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:55
>>13
but you should also remember that the defense of "it was a different time" to defend say columbus or any slave owner also applies to how rape was back in the 60's.
17 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:56
>>16
rape was illegal in the 60's. So MLK was breaking the laws of his time too.
18 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:57
>>17
might want to look up what the definition of rape was in the 60s.
19 Name: [email protected] 2020-06-19 21:58
>>18
I'm not going on a Google hunt to prove you wrong, which you are.
20 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 21:59
>>19
i'm not, back in the 60's it was mostly common law rape, depending on which area, required that there was penetration, saying no and required a prompt complaint. It wasn't until the 70s when rape laws started giving victims more rights.
21 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:00
So you're saying MLK is actually Ray Pist
22 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:01
>>20
i forgot too, evidence that you fought back and evidence that you were raped.
23 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:02
>>14
He alleged that the FBI had these recordings... but they are sealed by the FBI, it's not verified unless it's actually released.

How the fuck is anyone a hypocrit when the claim has yet to be proven by anyone. Hell, it'd be pretty easy to release the info, his family has been trying to get this stuff released for decades now.
24 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:03
>>22
thats just evidentiary standards you're talking about rape was still illegal, and im pretty sure watching and encouraging a felony of any kind made you an accomplice, even in the 60s.
25 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:04
>>24
evidentiary standards
and you're innocent until proven guilty?
pretty sure
sorry, wrong again
26 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:05
Evidence only matters when its a sacred cow of the left. If its even remotely conservative hearsay is all you need to tear a person apart.
27 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:06
>>25
get those Google fingers working again and show me where you could be accomplice to a crime in the 60s but not bear any responsibility
28 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:07
>>26
Have you seen any evidence for the claim here?

Fill us in.
29 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:09
>>27
woah slow down there, we're talking about rape here. show me where in the 1960s people were arrested for watching a rape
30 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:11
>>28
There was a credible witness in the FBI agent and there are recordings of it that exist somewhere.

Remember Kavanaugh? All you need is to be credible. Thats the term the left came up with. Nobody has an inherent right to have statues made of them, and we don't need a court room evidentiary standard to tear down statues. Better to be safe and just tear down the dtatues of this guy who was probably a piece of shit

This is all the evidence he has.

encouraging and giving instruction on how to commit a crime while in a room with the perpetrator and the victim is a bit more than "watching"

Keep that cognitive dissonance up.
33 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:15
>>32
Ok, well then show someone that got arrested for that in the 1960s
34 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:16
>>31
thats all you need today. Leftists tear people down over far less nearly every day. #cancelking
35 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:17
>>30
uhhh... yeah, I remember Kavanaugh. He looks to be doing pretty well for himself.

If you guys love the racist hero statues so much then people should fund a privately owned museum and have them all sent there. Thats always an option, not sure why nobody has taken that up if they care so much for them.
36 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:18

Dude its been a fundamental concept in US law since the 1700s
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aiding_and_abetting
37 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:19
>>36
Yet, you have yet to provide a single example of someone getting arrested for watching a rape
38 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:20
>>35
I dont give a shit about civil war statues, but defacing statues of Washington is going way to far.
39 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:21
>>37
...and there would have to be an actual victim, who actually says it was non consensual and that they weren't there to get rawdogged.
40 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:22
>>39
and there'd be a police report right a way, as that was the logic back in the 60s
41 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:23
>>37
it happens all the time now, but im not going to the way back machine and looking for specific cases from fifty years ago about something thats clearly always been illegal. You're gonna do a mental backflip no matter what I say or produce.

If we're tearing all these statues down, a philandering moral hypocrite for whom there's credible evidence that he aided and abetted in a rape (its at least enough evidence to get a college kid expelled) is fair game too.
42 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:24
>>41
Oh I see, so I'm supposed to take your word for it, like the libs, because you're too fucking lazy to back your shit up.

Imagine being this much of a whiney faggot.

"Boo hoo, they tore down a statue of some dude I never knew anything about, but I somehow care now because my fragile feelings are threatened."

Neck yourself.
44 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:26
>>38
People have vandalized those statues literally hundreds of times over the years.
45 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:27
>>42
I've backed up the shit I came here to back up, but I dont owe you my time and effort to chase down anything yshit. Not your personal google device. You've done nothing to back up your claim that watching amd encouraging rape was somehow ok because it was the 60s, but you want me to go searching for decades old news clippings? Get fucked.
46 Name: Anonymous 2020-06-19 22:28

Its not about my politics, its about mass hysteria and book burning behaviors. Leftists are trying to destroy America as if its some evil place that exists among a sea of more noble countries. It ain't. At ever stage of its existence its been one of the most egalitarian nations on earth, even hundreds of years ago when it was at its worst.

And FYI in 2008 I literally comitted hundreds of personal hours campaigning for Obama, so im not pro-right. Im just pro-sanity.

"book burning behaviors"

we're past the point where tearing something down can effectively delete it's history like the previous century. The history has been effectively immortalized until the point where a massive asteroid slams into us.
