What is there to do on the internet these days?

I'm so burnt out. I've gotten into a rut where I just oscillate between /4ct/, /tinychan/, Instagram and YouTube. What do other people use the internet for? You've ruined Reddit for me, thankfully, by enlightening me to how vapid and echochambering it is.

Try looking at other chans. There are some cool niche ones out there if you have a particular hobby like if your a pedo try goatfinger and 8chan.

I was browsing through some History Channel documentaries from the mid to late 1990's (Civil War Journal). I can't believe how mature and somber they are. Their seemed to be a real seriousness to the educational TV shows back then. Look in contrast to all the in-your-face empty content they have today like Ice Truckers, Pawn Stars, and Ancient Aliens. They really dumbed down the content just to attract a few more shekels from the dumber populace. We truly are in Idiocracy today.

Try watching some shows which aren't american. Wanna learn something? Watch literally anything by David Attenborough, or really any documentary, science or nature show produced by the BBC

History channel in the 90s was nearly always reruns of the same ww2 documentaries over and over.
Now it's pawnstars and rust bucket renovations.
People - as in the average cable customer- can only handle their history in little blurbs before commercial break.
