Christianity is a mental illness.

I'm a 27 year old, good looking/intelligent white male living in the United States, been an atheist my whole life but I've been doing tons of research on religion/spirituality and decided I want to be a Mormon or Catholic, I've been to Mass (because it's fairly short and I get restless easily) and taken Communion several times, never been to Confession and not planning on it even if I do become a full fledged Catholic, I've avoided attending Mormon church services because I've been told they are very long but perhaps someday I will go, I've read the Catechism of the Catholic Church (once) and the Book of Mormon (twice) and I've been reciting Catholic prayers as a form of discipline. I can't just be a Mormon AND Catholic, so which should I be and why?
