GTA VI NEW LEAKS EVERYBODY!
GTA VI will have a chapter system similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, two of them takes place in the 70s
The map takes place in Miami, Florida
The size of the map will be much larger than the GTA V map. You can get to the other end of the city in 15 minutes with the fastest vehicle
The main story would last for 60 hours
GTA VI is going to be the best game of all of the GTA's but not as great as Red Dead Redemption 2.
There will be the mafia in the game. I can only say that.
The main character will not be a girl. His codename will be "Ricardo" and he will be 34 years. I can't say his real name.
The game is politically incorrect and the level of nudes is similar to Cyberpunk 2077
The artificial intelligence has been improved. The NPCs drive more aggressive like honking the horn if they are late for work
When we use a gun, the gameplay is similar to the style of Red Dead Redemption 2. We can't do parkour
The explosions can shred extremities and fragment the bones
We'll have surf and windsurf minigames and a fairly free mission structure.
The NPCs are similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. The police will not shoot you if you make little crimes and we can bribe them.
The body shape can be changed but not in such a remarkable way. The people will comment on your appearance on the street
The online is way better than the GTA V one.
The melee attack has been improved and the GTA 4 fighting system is retaken with unique animations for stealth attacks.
The effects of the weather and storm are impressive and the physics has been imrpoved.
The car customization also has been improved and driving it fells less arcade like GTA V but not as heavy as GTA IV
Rockstar will prioritize the consoles version and the pc one will be launched 12 months later.
The announcement will be in spring 2022 and the launch will be on October 2023

yeah so like nobody cares anymore. they waited too long. It's not going to be that much different and there's no nostalgia factor

Oh great, i can't imagine what we'd do with a game that didn't allow us to edit they/them's penis size.

That's not politically incorrect. Wanna make the game politically incorrect, make a tranny the lead villain and make the final mission one where you dangle him from a rope.

their last few games were the people with the nostalgia factor from playing the originals, plus you had the new younger people for the online aspect. The will be very few of those og gta fans that buy the game because they're in their 40s now, and I think even fewer of the new kids to the series because they're hooked on the new cooler shit. It's just going to be a revamp of an old game. Most series just need to die gracefully.

Reminder: Rockstar Games / R*North has some of the most stringent security of any games studio worldwide. Anyone claiming to have leaks of pending titles - particularly titles which have not been officially announced - are almost certainly false.

Anyone claiming to a R* employee are almost certainly lying. As an ex-employee, I was required to sign a 21-page NDA document which prohibited me from talking about the projects I'd worked on for 5 years. That was pretty standard at R* north back then, and its more stringent now. Breach of NDA would be grounds for removal, and in the small cell team structure which R* uses, any leak can easily be boiled down to a few dozen sources. Employees in breach of their contracts have been thrown out by security with less than half an hour to pack personal items, and such a dismissal will ruin an employees' career, without a decent reference.

While some of these claims are plausible sounding, there is absolutely no evidence to back them up. Treat them as fiction until the day that an official source verifies anything.

Great info dude, this leaks is from Reddit and i share it here.

Rockstar Games' NDA specifically precludes employees making such statements, and can be grounds for dismissal

I would be highly sceptical of any claim like that.

I’m just glad it’s not going to be as good as Red Dead Redeption 2, which I have never played.

not him, but I'll have a crack
V was dull and boring for those of us who've been playing since GTA2. Yeah, they tried, but it was kinda half-assed. The technology was top notch. The rest full of fucking Dad joke mockeries of the edgy GTA2/3 humour.
And now with pretty much anyone with talent having left, the company is a shadow of their former selves, a monolith dedicated to milking past glories like GTA Online for every penny that can be squeezed out of morons' daddy's credit cards, and to roll out a GTA6, like anyone gives a fuck, to play the same I'm sure technically brilliant but utterly SOUL-LESS half-billion dollar testament to corporate greed run amock ...

What's the saying, you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain? Yeah, guess which cockstar chose?

But, hey, plenty of n00b cockgobblers born 12 years ago who'll happily part with $60 and ten times that in shark cards, so ... fuck me right? *shrugs*

There might be an internal investigation but if you're a pretty good liar and know the internet it would be easy to hide yourself. Also a lot of big companies actually like these sorts of leaks, whether true or not, to get those super nerds excited and start talking about it and they over time get casual fans excited for the actual release of what is happening. And then it's still a year before the game is released

yeah, but any fucking idiot can claim to work for them. Doesnt make it real.

The first red flag is that they're going on about who the character is, and the "there will be mafia, I cant say mroe than that" and the likes.

The number of employees who will know that much of the design document is extremely limited, and they're all employees with more than 10 years' in the studio. An individual person might know that the weather and physics work is being done, they're never going to have access to the plot. The person working on the Online gameplay teams will have no access to the singleplayer plot. And so on.

while R* north has almost certainly shifted to production of a new title (I know this because my old friends in Edinburgh who still work at R* arent being burnt out by Crunch scheduling, much of that is due to lockdown in Covid regulation. Remote development of some elements is ongoing, there as in other studios I used to work in, but its disrupting all schedules.) we have no proof it is GTA. over the years, R* north has worked on many other IPs.

I'm sure we all want it to be true, but really, this strikes me as being someone who's followed the previous products enough to make convincing statements (ie, console first, PC a year later, R*'s recent releases are scheduled for October), a number of vague rumours we already have (Miami, due to environment artist teams who were reported to be there from R* NY) and some semi-predictable incremental tech, and some made-up flavour fluff to make it convincing.

To anyone who's not worked in their studios, it might sound convincing. to those of us who have, its guff.

lel
Yes, and they're gonna backtrace the internet, call the cyberpolice and the consequences will never be the same, right? Fuck, unless the employee is a complete tool who has no clue how to cover his digital footprints, no one is going to know who leaked it. Moreover, THEY probably authorised the fucking leak. I mean, who ACTUALLY believes company marketing departments wouldn't try to get some of that delicious meme-ridden viral marketing to whet appetites and build some edging in gaemer 12yos? Why spend money when there's a free internet doing fuck all to do the work for you? And what do we actually have?? Some pre-alpha thought bubbles they're still working out.

No one's getting arrested, dude. We've played this game too often before.

Wanna know the worst fucking thing about the new GTA.

I bet the fucking thing will not come out on PC till like a year or so after and even then might end up being a shitty EGS exclusive.

Since I'm not a patient guy and I lovfe GTA I'll end up having to buy a shitty fucking Xbox Seris X or PS5 just to play the fucking thing.

I don't know, you kind of just sound like you're a pussy and don't really know what people can really be like when they're stressed or have nothing else in life besides work and the internet.

but if you're a pretty good liar and know the internet it would be easy to hide yourself.

not really.
think of development being 100 different sections and there's 40 teams.

A genuine leak (as opposed to mostly vague generic claims like OPs - lets say it leaks that GTAVI's lead character is Michael Bellic, living in Vice City, has a Cousin Roman, and a family, etc etc and that the main plotline involves him stealing a jetpack from Area 69 - Now cell teams #1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 12 all know the lead character name and ID, 10-20 are mostly doing environment art, etc. 21-40 are all codemonkeys doing AI pathfinding code and all that - they dont really get to see the plot at all.
and now you look at which teams are working on Area 69 - and that's #10, 12, 13, and 14.

well, we've got a match. So we can make a guess that the leak came via cell 12. and the more detail, the more easy it is to ID a member.

And R* really does NOT like unverified leaks. We had one way back when I was there, turns out that a bunch of us were going out for lunch from the old Leith Walk/Calton Rd studio, and down to Broughton road, a nice little cafe, and were talking about development - and the waiter was listening in, and leaked it (and said he'd overheard.). Entire department got dragged up and read the riot act, told to never talk outside the studio.

Liberty City (pretty much on rails)
what is this GTA San Andreas all over again?!

yeah but it's covid. People weren't going out for lunch, they were hanging out not in public. And if you're being told you're not allowed to know something, doesn't that make you want to know it even if it doesn't matter? Covid has shut down so many things, any form of entertainment or knowledge was exciting. Life became very stagnant, especially for people working constantly and aggressively who had boundaries because they couldn't even let lose a little. You might know the gaming companies but I know people.

Also it is very easy to hide yourself on the internet and I've cheated a lie detector test 3 times as an experiment. It's easy to pretend in front of other people.

did you even play that dogshit game? other than some tits every now and then (and the genitalia you picked and didn't use the entire fucking game), the game is completely devoid of sex

gta 2 and 3 truly were the best

yeah, but most people who got into san andreas were some kids who had PS2, they need to remake some gta2 cyberpunk something like that.
I miss being able to drop mines on the road while being chased, or dropping oils making the cars slip to oblivion.

easily could have been leaked through the company by like 50% of the people, just all talking shit with one another thinking its all secret and they all keep that secret but 1 person

The technology was top notch.
Much of it was a downgrade from GTA IV so you can't say it's top notch. It was fun interacting with pedestrians and cops in GTA IV. In V they're robots.

so, you dont work in my industry, you have absolutely no idea what we do or how we do it, you have no idea of the people who work in my former employees' studio, and you dont even live in the same country as the studio I worked for?

but you think you know all this with absolute certainty, more that the person who worked there.

You really are peak Dunning-Kreuger, and one self-centred cunt, arent you?

I've been told of video game leaks, movie leaks, stock market shit that's very illegal, people confessing to a lot of things they have said to other people that could have get them fired. I just don't think you're fully comprehending the fact that you don't know every employee and where their mind is at. People share secrets all of the time even when they are on contract. And those secrets pass between a network of people often. I don't think you're an idiot but I think you're very wrong on this one. You might be a vault but people risk their careers to tell a secret to someone they think won't spread it every single day. And often could risk jail time. You don't know people.

probably fake but I hope we can bounce between chapters for free roam if we choose instead of being locked out of an era once we complete it. That being said prob fake because that would quadruple the number of car models for different time periods and that would take far too long to make.

Yeah the cops in gta v sucked but so did the ones in iv where you could fire a gun with nobody around and get a star. Now I know shotspotter exists irl but NYC didnt get shotspotter until a few years ago, in 07 they didnt have it. V cop's aim is too accurate, feels robotic and dumb and the way they come in waves too.
