hey /comp/ , i need help fixing a pressure control circuit , so the yellow light turns on when power is supplied , but only when i give it a shove does the Green light turn on and the pump starts working, the pcb under the relay is a bit burnt so maybe it's that

could try reflowing the solder points where the relay is connected.

Seen this many times before. After about 2016, one of the manufacturers, Seibring, switched from using a standard RS435A to the cheaper R430, the knock-off. Then in '18, they reduced their capacitance load over their slave circuit which started to overheat things too much. Sometimes, this can trip the power supplies overamp detection IF it's the "Q" series, but the combo of R430 and the "P" series detector will set you up for issues.

So, in short, have you tried turning it off and then on again?

post pic of burnt area, thats probably it, can advise more with good quality pic. if too homosexual to take a pic, re-solder the relay pins and look close at the traces to see if they are broken, if broken clean down to bare copper and bridge the gap with solder / jumper

if the relay is getting hot, it most likely means the contacts are carbonized, so you need to replace it.

Ah yeah, fried resistor maybe?

Sounds like something is loose and not making contact, probably can be fixed by testing continuity between parts and resoldering.

Hard to say without laying hands on it, do any resistors look burnt? Needs to be tested with a meter. Also, as >>5 says, could be the contacts in the relay are burnt. If the surrounding components test fine and you've reflowed the solder checked the traces, and it still needs a twhack to operate, suspect the relay.

This + Check if the Diode next to the relais is working, if not, than probably your whole ciruct is dead.
