1080p vs 1440p?
pc gamers only
used 1080P for over 7 years now
whats the point of getting 1440P 144Hz+ is my gpu wont be able to handle the load or maintain 120fps? and yes it does cost more but is it worth it to upgrade from 1080p to 1440p?
that is even if im able to get my hands on the new gpu's later this year or next year.
you're still 5 years behind in technology
oh yeah because i want to buy an 8K res monitor lmao that costs and arm an a leg just to game or a 4K monitor in that case, so no fuck that dude i just wanna game and have a good time.
1080p looks like dogshit. 1440p looks really good with some AA slapped onto it.
To keep your frames at 120+ you'll need a 1080 ti, 2070 Super, 2080 or 1060 ti and you'll be fine in most games.
4k sucks and just kills your frames. It looks nice, but the cost is too great right now unless you're a lucky mf with a 3080 or better.
Grab a 1440p IPS 165Hz panel, that's what I got. Highly recommend.
3060 ti*** my bad
i wouldnt know im still using 1080p and dont have anything with higher res.
