Why did you decide to start building a pc when you didn't have the capital to do it?

I spent about 2k on my current rig built 6 months ago. 2060s, 64gb ram, intel i7-9700, 2tb ssd, 1080p 240hz monitor beside an old 1080p 60hz, a shitload of fans and an ungodly amount of usb ports. I'll be using this computer for at least half a decade outside of adding an 8tb ssd. Don't buy shit tier once a year, get what you want when you can't tolerate what you have.

what's your old one? also what is shit like a 1080 going for atm? or if that's still expensive, grab a 1060/70 to tide you over? those two would decently handle most things and a 1060 looks to be under 100 £.

imo better to grab something like a 1060/70 for not much money to tide you over for like a year or w/e, than spend 4x that and end up replacing that in a year because it's midtier

if you say what games you wanna play i can try help, but imo a 1060/70 will run basically everything and like i said, tide you over for a while
